Dr. Bilal Shikur is associate professor of Public Health with more than 10 years of experience in teaching, research and community services at Addis Ababa University. Dr. Bilal has received merits for remarkable achievements.
In addition, he is a certified management consultant and coach and founder and CEO of Bilcor institute of Leadership coaching and research..
Currently, Dr. Bilal is Principal investigator of the following projects;
Tracking trends of mortality using Addis Ababa Mortality surveillance Program: Assessing the direct and indirect impact of COVID 19 on the mortality trends (AAU in collaboration with Federal Ministry of Health)
Cause of mortality among adults and children in Addis Ababa Ethiopia: Verbal and social autopsy study (AAU-Thematic research)
He is a Co-principal investigator of IMAM Implementation Research
He is Co-principal investigator of National FP Integration Assessment & Implementation Research in Ethiopia
He is also Co-Principal investigator of Implementation research to accelerate scale-up of specialized lactation support to optimize breast milk feeding practices and nutritional outcomes among preterm and/or low-birth-weight infants, Ethiopia (Funded by BMGF and coordinated by Addis Ababa University)
